Ya...how boring is that eh. I can't believe I got outta bed this morning, so very, VERY tired...then I went to brush my teeth, and looked back into my dark bedroom, with my GIANT, WARM, COMFORTABLE bed...and almost cried. lol BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Today is a long day too. I'm in Computers right now til 9...then Workshop 9-11...break (but have a meeting) from 11-12 then Marketing from 12-3 EWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Marketing is so ridiculously boring I can't stand it. Whoever goes into marketing for a living...must have tons of patience to go through the schooling to learn it!! That's all I have to say! lordy! (PS Steph, that was funny in ur survey, I'm the most impatient hahaha it's so true)
I don't really know what else to write about..I mean not much has happened...it's 8:21 in the morning...Oh let's see...my internet was down when I got up...big surprise..but that's pretty much all that happened. OH! I woke up this morning, and my tan had developed more YAAAAAY now lets just see how long it lasts :( I really wanna be tan for when I come home for the Kalan Porter concert....I don't know why tho..
So..Kalan Porter's CD...not that good. I mean his voice is incredible, but I don't particularly like his style of music. So..I guess I can't say it's not that good..I can only say that it's not my style. I left it in Aaron's truck over xmas, so he kept it in the CD player...so over xmas the more I heard it, the more it grew on me. I supposed I just have to listen to it some more...and maybe soon it'll be my favourite LP haha (don't know about that)
Yesterday I reviewed Kelly Clarkson's CD "Breakaway" for the magazine. (Random Sample..our online music oriented magazine @ school).I was surprised at the critiques I gave it. I was trying to keep an open mind, and review it from an unbiased standpoint and did I ever!!! I only gave it about a 7.5/10 and said that Kelly's voice was keeping the CD alive, not the songs...which is funny cuz it's my favourite CD!!! Well..I guess at least I know I can step out of my likes and critique it properly!! Maybe I'll write for a magazine permanently one day! (LOL I know this is all just because of one review, but I'm tired right now, and anything seems possible lol)
January 12th...is that someones birthday?!?!?! I dunno
On a sadder note, my Auntie Toni passed away :( It's very, very sad. She has some sort of terminal cancer, and there was nothing they could do about it. My uncle doesn't even want to talk to anyone right now, I'm under strict orders not to try and contact him, cuz I guess he'll lose it or something. I wish I could go to England for the funeral, but obviously it's not feesable at this time :( I remember going to England when I was 16 to visit them...It seems like so long ago. Toni was slow then too (she was fairly old) but she moved around quite a bit...and let me just say, she made the BEST meat and potatoe pie EVER (tradition in our family to eat it xmas eve @ my aunt lesleys house...no matter who has to make it)Ok..let's not stay sad
Happiness again with the Canadian Idol auditions coming to London. I'm super excited, but I know that London has a lot of talent, that wouldn't audition in Toronto just cuz it's far...but since it's in London they would probably come out. Man..I definitely have to up my game. Gotta practice hard, and not psych myself out. It is sad when they tell you that you aren't going further, but hey, that's life right? You win some, you lose some...just hopefully we all get thru :) hehehe

Hehehe I'm so excited, even though I didn't make it last year!!! Good old Canadian Idol is coming back!!! I'm so excited, I had such a good time last year, and hopefully I can try to make it further this year. If not, then oh well! I now have to think of a couple songs to sing....anyone with suggestions (real ones) are welcome to give their input!!!

Just chilling out...waiting for Caroline to finish lunch so we can go type out our proposals for Campus Entertainment in the Commons...lalala...and I have to go to an ATM..so i spend money on something...so I can get change for the bus, cuz I bought 3 tans for 3 dollars @ Megatan..and today's my last day..and I only have one left. We had to use them in 7 days. It just sux cuz now I know I don't have enuf money to keep going tanning :( its sad.
Anywho..Caroline just called so I guess we're going soon..but she's always running late. Hopefully we have time to type our stuff up...well I guess hopefully I have time. She hasn't even written it yet...I have but I just need to type it up.
I guess I'll get going

So, I did my presentation this morning...went pretty well (it was a group presentation), and we didn't get everything in..but everyone really loved it, especially the teacher..BONUS.
So we finished that up around....9:10..and right after that I came back to my room to work on my Canadian Music Industry paper that is worth 25% of my grade...the only problem...I feel like I barely wrote anything. It had to be no more than 3 pages...and I have 2.25 pages. I got all the information in that I needed to, but I feel like I'm cheating out of doing more....but I know there's nothing else I can put in other than bullshit, and I don't want to risk writing a bullshit paper for 25% of my grade. Oh well....almost done that..well I'm done the actual paper part, I'm just waiting for Caroline to bring my disk down so I can do my Works Cited and Cover Page by using a template I have already made up.
So, we need to get 30 hours of Campus Involvement...as it stands I have 26. After Thursday I will have 27...and I need to write my magazine articles by Friday, so it won't be a problem to get finished. I'll get my 30 hours which makes me happy. I was worried I barely had any, but I added them up last nite, so sweet deal on my part.
So tonight the plan is after class do go to the Computers assignment. After that I plan on catching up on whatever computers/communications work I missed while I was sick. So...after tonite I will only have the Summary Paper that I have to have done. WHEW!!! I'm gonna be dead when I come back to London!
Well, as a congratulations to myself..I'm going to go have some oatmeal..or maybe find someone to go for an omelette with me. lol

Our teachers piled SO MUCH WORK on us due for this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone is complaining about it, and nobody knows how we're gonna get everything done!!!!
Here's a little outline of what's due this week/tests
Monday - Live Sound Test
Tues - History of Pop presentation, 2 Communications assignments
Wed - Event Planning presentation, CMI project, Computers Assignment
Thurs - getting our CENT final assignment due on the last exam day
Fri - History of Pop Final Summary Paper
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH I'M FREAKING OUT. Then I get exams the week after...good god, guess who isn't leaving her room until school is done..OH IT'S ME. Our teachers are blaming all this (assignments being shoved @ us last minute) on going to Cleveland in Oct..But really, that shouldn't make THIS MUCH of a DIFFERENCE!!!! God! At Fanshawe we got our assignment sheets on the first day of school.....WHY DON'T THEY DO THAT HERE!?!?!?
God, it's making me feel sick...just cuz I'm so worried I won't get it all done...it's gonna be soooooo hard. MAARRRRRRR!!!!!!
